Call it a big success story about the recovery of a girl after she was kidnapped. Investigation revealed that a student of Bishop West Bishop Westcott Girls' School, was going to school located in Namkom, reached Siramtoli by E-rickshaw, a group of abductors pulled her, took her into their car and escaped on Wednesday morning.
The police recovered her from near Ramgarh, 45.5 km away from Ranchi. Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar said that on the police was on alert after receiving the information about her kidnapping.
“A speedy car was seen on the highway in between Mandu and Kujju. Mandu police station incharge Sadanand started chasing it. Spotting the police following their car, they increased the speed of the car. Soon, their car entered into a crowded road. The police car hit their car. But the kidnappers did not stop. Next, the officer- in-charge Sadanand opened fire”.

Further, Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar added that having spotted the girl inside the car, police officer Sadanand stopped firing to prevent any risk of bullet injury to her. “ The criminals again increased the speed of the car. However, witnessing the police vehicle chasing them, they reached an isolated spot and threw the girl out of their car”, said Ramgarh SP.
The recovery of the girl was confirmed by Ranchi DIG cum SSP Chandan Kumar Mishra.
Now the police is reportedly busy tracking the car and abductors. A brief interrogation of the victim girl by the police indicated that she was not raped.Police was trying to decode the story of her kidnapping.
