*79th Independence Day:Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren saluting the Tricolour after unfurling it in his village, Nemra, Ramgarh district, Jharkhand.

On the 79th Independence Day,Chief Minister Hemant Soren turned his ancestral village Nemra, Ramgarh district,Jharkhand, into a green field to unfurl the Tricolour flag.

Performing the last rites of his father Shibu Soren(81), co-founder of the ruling party JMM,who is widely known as Dishom Guru or Guruji, who had breathed his last on August 4, CM Soren has been staying in his ancestral house at Nemra.

And,while performing daily acts of Shradh event, slated to be held on August 16,CM Soren did not escape from his official duty. He has signed several official files during the past ten-eleven days since the demise of his father Soren.

As per official tradition, CM Soren was slated to unfurl the national flag and take salute from security forces at the mega Morahabadi Maidan in Ranchi.

However, due to his attachment with last rites and the Shradh event linked with his beloved father Shibu Soren, he preferred to stay put in Nerma village and unfurled the Tricolour flag from there in presence of his friends, relatives and villagers.

Back in Ranchi, Governor Santosh Gangwar who unfurled the national flag and took salutes from the police and security forces.

Notably, since the cream coloured and tailor free clothing covering the shoulders and knees and sleeper in legs was worn by him for performing the Shradh,CM Soren unfurled the national flag too in the same dress and wished citizens of the state “ Happy Independence Day.”
