International Benchmark Test was organised at Delhi Public School, Ranchi by Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), on 16th November, 2017.

IBT is been conducted in the school since last 3 years. This year 300 students appeared for the test.

The International Benchmark Test (IBT) is developed by ACER. It covers the students of classes III-X, in English, Maths and Science. Unlike other tests, IBT is not mapped to a particular curriculum, but it tests the student’s ability to apply acquired knowledge.

This test is particularly useful for the in-depth assessments of the students, and provides a very detailed analytical report, based on psychometric analysis, that presents a student-wise picture of precise strengths and are additional support.

ACER is an International Research and Assessment Service Organisation with the mission to create and promote research-based knowledge and services.  ACER has played a key role in developing the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) of students for the OECD (Organisation for Economic Corporation and Development).

The Principal of the school Dr. Ram Singh said that this test will help us track students’ progress within grade, across grades and to get detailed report that shows the students strengths and their scope of improvement.
