Industrialist Pawan Dhoot got relief today when the CBI designated court granted him bail in the cash-for-vote scam case.

Dhoot was granted bail on two sureties of Rs 25,000 each after he surrendered before the CBI court in Ranchi.

Dhoot was among sex accused against whom the CBI had filed chargesheet in the horse trading case related to the 2012 Rajya Sabha poll in Jharkhand.

One of these accused RS Agrawal,who was industrialist too,from whose alleged vehicle Rs 2.15 crore was recovered on polling day in the Rajya Sabha poll,is in jail.He is yet to get the bail.

The case was taken up by the CBI at the directive of the Jharkhand High Court.
