Jharkhand Assembly remained in grip of protest put up by the Opposition MLAs on Thursday.
They staged a protest against amendment of the Chhotanagpur Tenancy (CNT) Act and Santhal Pargana Tenancy (SPT) Act outside Jharkhand Assembly during ongoing Budget Session in Ranchi.
They demanded withdrawal of the amendment passed by the Assembly without discussion in the last session.The ruling BJP led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das remained silent on the issue.
The aamendment Bill was not approved by the President and the Governor of Jharkhand till date.
