After a huge gap of three years, Jharkhand government is planning to hold civil services examinations for many vacant posts before end of the current year 2019.

This means that if this plan takes off and implemented in letter and spirit, scores of civil services aspirants can get an opportunity to fill up many vacant posts. Of course, to make this happen, the state government has to direct the Jharkhand Public Service Commission(JPSC) to conduct joint tests/examinations for 2017,2018 and 2019.
.
In turn, this can provide a bumper opportunity to thousands of candidates who dream to become civil servants in Jharkhand. Though only residents of the state were eligible for these posts, there were many aspirants with roots from Bihar, who had already registered themselves as residents of Jharkhand, can benefit from this move as well.

Toward this end, Jharkhand Joint Secretary Om Prakash Shah has circulated a letter to concerned officers to inform him of the exact number of vacant posts latest by August 10.

It is expected that there are around 1000-1500 vacant posts of civil servants in the state. After recording the exact number, Jharkhand Public Service Commission can be asked to hold examinations before end of 2019.
