Hemant Soren's government inherited several departments without officers. Now, under its regime, the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC)has invited online applications from qualified and interested candidates for filling 267 vacancies.
These vacancies are for the post of Deputy Collector, Assistant Municipal Commissioner/ Executive Officer/Special Officer, Jharkhand Education Services Class-2, Planning Officer/District Planning Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Samadeshta and Assistant Planning Officer.
These vacancies have to be filled up through direct recruitment. Toward this end, the online registration-cum-application process has already started from March 1, 2020, and closes on March 30, 2020, with April 1, 2020, as the last date for depositing the examination fee.
Any candidate keen to apply for any of these posts through Jharkhand PSC must not be more than 35 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 37 years (BC/EBC), 38 years (Women - Gen/BC/EBC) and 40 years (SC/ST - male and female) respectively.
As per the JPSC requirement, candidates have to pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 600 + bank charges (Gen/EWS/BC/EBC) and Rs. 150 + bank charges (SC/ST/Ex-SM - Jharkhand) respectively as examination fee through online (net-banking/credit/debit, etc, payment gateways) mode only.
