While the entire nation got lit up at 9 PM for 9 minutes, persons with a disability were not behind in Ranchi.

They lightened candles inside their home maintained by the Mission of Christianity along Kantatoli-Bus stand road in the capital of Ranchi.

"We stand together. We stand united", said an eye disabled youth echoing the sentiments of their colleagues.

Elsewhere, the scene reminded of Diwali. Many residents burnt candles and crackers too. 

Their candlelight move was in response to the appeal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to light up Diyas/ candles/ mobile to express unity among the 130 million people against the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown for 21 days.
