Unlike Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's decision to open some offices, his counterpart of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren has decided to continue lockdown -3 in the state till May 17.
Soren said that as a precaution, the lockdown will continue in the state for the next two weeks. "We will not take any chance to allow COVID-19 spread."
This means the Central government's fresh instructions regarding relaxations will not be applicable in Jharkhand at present.
"As the students, migrant laborers and others are returning home. This is necessary to protect the health of the people of the state", tweeted Soren.
