The officials of a Ranchi based PSU MECON met the Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren at Chief Minister's residence today. 

Vivek Kapila, Senior General Manager( Electrical), MECON, said his Company is currently engaged in the work of domestic power supply, urban sub-station strengthening and laying fibre cable in 11 districts of the state so that the Mukhiyas can also interact with the central and state government and acquaint them of Panchayat's activities through video conferencing. 

The MECON officials urged the Chief Minister to give work orders in addition to these works, so that it ensures its participation in the development of the state. The CM assured the MECON officials that the State government will take appropriate decisions in this direction. On the occasion Shahnawaz Ahmed, Senior Manager (Electrical), MECON was also present.
