At a time when Jharkhand state administration had kept all hotels shut due to Corona pandemic, ex Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav managed to stay at the Ranchi based star hotel Capital Residency, prompting the district administration to lodge FIR against him.

The incident took place on Thursday night, hours after Tej Pratap visited his father at the RIMS Director’s Bungalow- turned -into jail by the Hemant Soren government. On way to the Bungalow, Tej Pratap’s followers not only put up their AC cars and SUVs on the road, blocking traffic but also threatened and abused individuals who questioned their ‘goonda giri’.

At Capital Residency, Tej Pratap was reportedly relaxing inside the room number 507 last night when the Circle officer Prakash Kumar raided his hotel room and finding him there illegally, lodged an FIR against him, hotel owner and its manager Dushyant Kumar.

The FIR alleges that Tej Pratap Yadav in league with Capital Residency Hotel Manager and its Owner had violated the government’s order. The clause is bailable.
