“International Day of Persons with Disabilities” was celebrated at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach on Monday. 

To mark this occasion, Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway as Chief Guest felicitated 34 numbers of Divyang non-gazetted railway employees in recognition of their sincerity, dedication and outstanding service. 

These employees are working in different departments in SER Headquarters, Garden Reach, Kharagpur, Adra, Ranchi & Chakradharpur Divisions and Workshops. Fourteen out of thirty-four awardees have been chosen from SER Headquarters, Garden Reach while four each are from Kharagpur, Adra, Ranchi & Chakradharpur Divisions and the rest are from Stores and Workshops.

The programme was organised by the Headquarters Staff Benefit Fund Committee, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach. On this occasion, Smt. Zarina Firdausi, the Chairperson of Headquarters Staff Benefit Fund Committee & Principal Chief Personnel Officer along with other Principal Head of the Departments of this railway were also present.
