The G20 gathering held in Patratu in the newly built resort cum hotel and Iceland in a corner of the Dam will boost the tourism sector in Jharkhand.

On the other hand, Patratu will once again leave its mark on the world stage. Never in the past, foreigners had come and experienced bliss in a beautiful valley, nearly 40 km away from Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand.

All foreign delegates who had come to participate in G 20 meeting in Ranchi on March 2-3, visited the valley and dam constructed under the planning of the famous Indian engineer M Visvesvarays and Iceland resort planned and developed under the leadership of ex-CM and BJP leader Raghubar Das.

The greenery and mountains provide a scenic view, and the Hemant Soren government left no stone unturned to make G20 delegates spend quality time watching handmade crafts, singing and dancing tribal dancers, hearing chirping birds and boating in the dam to land on the island and return to the resort cum hotel complex in Patratu.

The greenery and the mountains provided them a mesmerizing view, and the drive from Ranchi to Patratu must have made them have one epic drive, with lots of mountain curvy roads.

Usually, the valley attracts tourists in the monsoon season as the leaves bud and green mountains are washed with rainy showers providing a hill station view.

As such, having got the opportunity to host this meeting turned out to be a big deal for the state government led by CM Hemant Soren.

After this historic day, renowned tribal artists of classical music gave performances in the resort welcome G20 guests. Additionally, lunch and pre-lunch parties were also held for them and visitors who had gathered there.
