In a dramatic turn of events, the Jharkhand Government today transferred Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh. He has been replaced by L Khiangte. 

Singh, who is scheduled to retire in 2024, has been shifted to Sri Krishna Sinha Institute of Public Administration (SKIPA) as director general (DG).

This is the second time Singh faced the wrath of Soren. Earlier Sukhdev Singh was sacked as Principal Secretary to CM in  2014. Now, he was removed as CS by CM Soren.
