For the first time India Today TV revealed the first visual of five-year-old Ram Lalla.
The picture was reportedly taken at the workshop before it was installed at the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Which is why Lord Ram Lalla looks blindfolded.
Notably, Arun Yogiraj sculpted the 51-inch idol, representing Lord Ram as a child. Yogiraj is Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj.
The idol of Ram Lalla has been selected by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee weeks ahead of the mega-consecration on January 22 in Ayodhya.
The chosen idol will depict Lord Ram in his child form, adorned with a bow and arrow as part of the decoration. This development came after a meeting chaired by temple Trust Secretary Champat Rai and other members. The meeting witnessed the inspection of three idols that had already been crafted.
The Ram Lalla’s idol carrying a golden bow and arrow will be finally unveiled after Pranpratistha rituals performed by PM Narendra Modi.
