Following the footsteps of several states including Himachal Pradesh, the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand on Sunday announced a half day closure of all its offices and schools on January 22. 

Half- day holiday means all state government offices and schools will remain closed till 2.30 pm on Monday to “enable” its employees participate in the ‘Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha’ celebrations.

The Ram temple consecration ceremony will take place on January 22 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest at the event
