Even as the ED is interrogating CM Hemant Soren in New Delhi, the Jharkhand administration has deployed security forces around his official residence in Ranchi. 

After reaching his residence - 5/1 Shanti Niketan in the national capital, ED sleuths entered, sources said, and took CM Soren for interrogation. 

In Ranchi, Chief Secretary L. Khiangte held an emergency meeting with the Deputy Commissioner, SSP, IG, and City SP. As a result, security measures were tightened. 

A large section of police personnel was deployed around the official residence of the CM. This has affected traffic on Kanke Road, Ranchi.
