Responding to newly elected legislature party leader Champai Soren’s letter submitting his claim of support of over 43 MLAs and requesting him to allow him to take oath as CM, Governor CP Radhakrishnan has invited Champai Soren. 

A group of five MLAs led by him was invited to meet him at 5.30 on today the Raj Bhawan. 

After Hemant Soren's resignation and subsequent arrest Wednesday, Champai Soren had staked claim to form the government, but the Governor had sought time.
