Come February 12 and the ED has to submit an affidavit stating what, how and why it has arrested Hemant Soren. 

 This development took place after the Jharkhand High Court today directed the ED to file a reply to a petition filed by former Chief Minister Hemant Soren challenging his arrest. 

The ED has been asked to file its reply by February 9. The court fixed February 12 for the next hearing.
