Less than a month after the Special Investigating Team was set up to inquire into the question paper of the JSSC CGL examination was leaked ahead of the examination on January 28, JSSC Chairman Neeraj Sinha resigned today. 

Sinha on Wednesday (21 February) sent his resignation to the Chief Secretary. In this letter, Neeraj Sinha has said that he is resigning from his post due to personal reasons. 

Apart from this, he has also said in the letter that he is resigning due to personal reasons.”I submit my resignation from the post of Chairman, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission today in the afternoon of 21.02.2024. 

And automatically resign from the post.” The JSSC CGL examination was held on January 28, but its question paper was leaked ahead of the examination. 

Following this, the SIT was formed to identify and arrest the accused at the earliest. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the matter.
