On the occasion of World Post Day, Ranchi Postal Division organized several events to promote the importance of postal services and their contribution to society.
A special walking event, "Postathon Walk," was conducted to spread the message "Fit Post, Fit India." The event emphasized the importance of fitness among postal staff and the public.
In addition to this, a tree planting initiative, "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," was also held, reflecting the commitment to environmental conservation.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony led by Sri Udaybhan Singh, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Ranchi Postal Division.
The First Prize, consisting of a cash prize of ₹25,000, for the UPU Letter Writing Competition at the Circle Level was awarded to Shristi Kumari, a Class 9 student from Guru Govind Singh Public School, Ranchi.
 She was recognized for her exemplary letter-writing skills, and the award ceremony took place in the Philately Bureau, Ranchi GPO.
The activities were held under the supervision of Sri Udaybhan Singh, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Ranchi Division, along with the presence of Sanjay Kumar Singh (Senior Postmaster, GPO), Sandeep Kumar Mahto (Marketing Executive), and Karunanidhi e.t.c..
The successful organization of the event highlighted the continued importance of postal services in India while celebrating the day with a focus on fitness, environment, and education.
