Continuity and change is visible in the parking spot and vehicle traffic flow at Birsa Munda Airport of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Consider the change first. 

A new parking zone is going to start operating at Birsa Munda Airport from May 1. 

For this, additional parking space for about 350 vehicles has been allotted in the airport to reduce the possibility of jam near the passenger terminal building. 

It has been decided that in the coming time, a prescribed automatic system for airport parking charges will be implemented. Cooperation from passengers is sought by Ranchi administration to stop unauthorized parking. 

Revised arrangements will be implemented for traffic and parking arrangements slated to be effective from May 1. 

The free time for private vehicles from entry to exit at the airport will be just for 10 minutes. 

A maximum time of 5 minutes has been fixed for picking up and dropping passengers in front of the terminal building and this five minutes will also be a part of the ten minutes mentioned above. For this reason the total free time will be 10 minutes. 

Under this, a new rate chart has also been decided to be implemented. As far as continuity is concerned, the traffic of vehicles will remain from entry point of the terminal to exist gate. 

The rate for entry fee remains the same. The media persons are allowed to enter and exit within time limit free of cost.
