Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit the capital city of Jharkhand on Thursday. 

She will take part in the “ Interactive Meeting” organized by the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce as chief guest. 

Her visit has gained significance since LS polls are going on across the country. And yet she has found time to attend the FJCCI-organised meeting.

FJCCI is slated to hold the Interactive Meeting of businessmen and industrialists inside the Hotel Radisson Blu. 

The scheduled time is 11 AM - 2 PM on May 9, 2024. The office bearers of FJCCI led by its President Kishor Mantri held a meeting. As per its plan, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be greeted at the Birsa Munda Airport and brought to the venue by FJCCI representatives including Mantri. 

Officially, the aim of the Interactive Meeting with stakeholders and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman is to explore ways to attract investment in the mineral- rich state of Jharkhand.

FJCCI meeting is expected to be attended among others by BJP state unit Chief and ex-CM Babulal Marandi.
