A fire that started at an electric scooter showroom located behind Jitendra Cinema theatre in Sector 4, in Bokaro has burnt more than 15 -20 e-scooters. 

As per the claim made by e-Scooter showroom, Rs 15-20 lakh valued e-scooters were completely burnt. 

The students who were stationed on the above floor of the e- Scooter shop jumped to another adjoining building and saved themselves. 

The fire brigade team worked hard and managed to douse the flames. Faulty battery cells and modules have been identified as the leading cause of electric scooters’ catching fire.
