The Central Coal Field( CCL) plans to build 200- bed Super Speciality Hospital in Ranchi.

An announcement toward this end was made on January 26,2023 by the CCL’s CMD PM Prasad. On January 9, when he lands in Ranchi for the first time after taking oath of office, the Minister of state for coal G.Kisan Reddy is slated to lay foundation stone of the 200- bed Super Speciality Hospital inside Gandhi Nagar colony. 

Reddy will also lay foundation stone of official residences of the CCL personnel. During his forthcoming Ranchi visit, the coal minister Mr Reddy will review the works of the CCL and CMPDI. 

Mr Reddy is also slated to meet Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and apprise him of the problems of the coal workers in the state, it is learnt.
