56 People's representatives with criminal records on HC's radar. Responding to a PIL, Jharkhand High Court has directed the state government and the police to submit criminal records pending against 56 people's representatives in the state. The petitioner told the court that the ruling government of the  BJP has not been taking legal action against its people's representatives-MPs, MLAs, Mukhiyas and so on. In response, the court on Friday directed the state administration and the police to submit pending criminal cases against 56 people's representatives. Even the CBI and the ED were asked to submit records toward the same end. Now, the hearing is slated to be held two months later.
