Tonnes of tomatoes were dumped and destroyed by farmers in Jharkhand.

Since they did not get the price they had quoted,they preferred to destroy them in Bundu located along Ranchi-Jamshedpur highway on Monday.

This is for the first time,the farmers had taken this step after the fall in prices of tomato to Rs 2 in whole sale market.

The place where these huge quantity of tomatoes were dumped and destroyed was the NH-33 in Bundu,considered Left Wing Extremist infected block in Ranchi district.
