Alarm bell has been raised against Blue Whale Challenge.And the bell was raised by two stars of the Bollywood-Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.

Both of them have separately spoken against the dangerous Blue Whale Challenge-online game which was pushing a person to commit suicide.

As per records,this online game allegedly consists of a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators during a 50-day period,with the final challenge requring the player to commit suicide,The term Blue Whal comes from the phenomenon of beached whales,which is linked to suicide.

In fact,Blue Whale had begun in Russia in 2014 with "F57",one of the names of the so called "death group" of the V Kontakte social network and allegedly caused its first suicide in 2015,states Wikipedia.

Later,it has been linked to other rising self-harm trends,such as "human embroidery" in China".Now,it took the life of a 14-year old boy in Mumbai on July 30.

Aware of it,Bachchan tweeted:Reading alarming news on a dangerous internet game being played by the young boy.Life is given to live and not give it up before time."

Similarly,addressing media persons recently Aamir is on record having said this:"It feel everything has its disadvantages.The Internet is a new medium,but if not used right,anything can cause problems.Even the best of things,when not put to right use,can cause harm."
