Search engine giant Google is celebrating its 19th birthday on September 27. To celebrate, Google has a special Google birthday surprise spinner.

When you click on the spinner, it randomly selects one doodle game from among 19 such games.It includes a brand-new snake game, access to several older Doodle hit games like the cricket game, tic-tac-toe, Pac Man and many more.

Google explains, “Upon clicking today’s Doodle, we invite you to explore 19 surprises we’ve launched over the past 19 years – including our brand new Search Funbox: Snake Game! So give it a spin and thanks for celebrating with us!”

It all began in 1996 when Larry Page and Sergey Brin both PhD students met at Stanford University in Stanford, California and decided to come up with a system to organise the world's information.

Page and Brin originally nicknamed their new search engine "BackRub" but later changed the name to Google.The domain name for Google was registered on September 15, 1997, and the company was incorporated on September 4, 1998. 

The search engine now has 4.5 billion users in 160 countries.
