A huge amount of cash and documents pointing to investments worth Rs.60 lakh have been seized from a government employee by the state vigilance bureau in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.

Ajay Singh, an employee of the revenue department, was arrested while accepting Rs.5,000 in cash from a person in lieu of property papers.

A resident of Barkagao constituency in Hazaribagh district complained to the vigilance bureau about bribes being sought by Ajay Singh. The bureau laid trap and arrested him.
