Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais has landed in Ranchi today, six days after he flew to Delhi.

During the past week, Governor Bais has been blamed for keeping mum on the office of profit case of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

After a petition by the Bhartiya Janata Party( BJP) seeking Soren’s disqualification as an MLA in the office of profit case, the Election Commission sent its decision to the Governor in a sealed envelope on August 25.

While EC’s recommendation has not been made public, Governor Bais is on record saying that he was taking legal advice and will make public his decision soon. This was on August 25 itself,

So far Governor Bais has not declared his decision. When journalists asked him to respond, he preferred to keep his mouth shut and after entering into his car, left for the Raj Bhawan from Ranchi air port.
