JMM leader Hemant Soren will soon meet Governor Syed Ahmed and stake claim to form coalition government led by him .
“We hope to meet the Governor tomorrow or any other suitable day this week”,said a source close to Hemant.
Soren,son of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha President Shibu Soren,is being backed by the Congress,RJD and some Independents.Most of these MLAs are expected to accompany him and meet Governor Ahmed.
In 81 member(with one nominated member)Assembly,Hemant claims to have support of 42 members.
Alongside,Hemant was elected leader of the JMM’s legislature party.
JD(U), which has two MLAs in Jharkhand, on Monday disapproved of attempts to cobble up an alliance government of Congress, JMM and RJD in the state, saying holding fresh elections is the only political solution there.
“The atmosphere of instability that exists in Jharkhand requires fresh elections. This (attempt to form a government there) is an useless exercise. The attempt being made to form a government there is not a proper step.
“Fresh elections should be held to give a political solution to Jharkhand. People should be given a chance,” Bihar Chief Minister and senior party leader Nitish Kumar told reporter.
