Jharkhand Land Acquisition Director Rajiv Ranjan on Tuesday informed that the online deposit of the land revenue service was launched in 19 and 17 circles(read blocks) in Ranchi and Hazaribagh districts respectively.

“Now the land owners will not have to run around and go to the Circle Office to pay it.They can use the Internet and make the payment of the land revenue through the Internet Banking,Cybre cafe or Pragya Kendra”,said Ranjan.

Ranjan,however,made it clear that this service will be provided to those land owners whose names were recorded in online Register 2.He informed that under the Digital India Land Record RMP,the pilot project to provide this online land revenue payment service was launched on March 29,2016 at Nagri Circle in Ranchi.

This service provided by the state Revenue Department was appreciated by the Union government’s Department of Land Records Joint Director Hukum Singh Meena.
