Jharkhand Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma on Monday directed the state agriculture department officers to prepare plan for the agriculture development at the village level in Jharkhand.
Addressing them through video conference inside Project Bhawan in Ranchi,the CS informed that 57624 out of total 60,000 youths who were selected were already identified.
Among them nearly 40,000 youths were trained by the NGO,she said.
The CS directed them to mobilise farmers to carry cultivation of Maduwa and Arhar(Pulse) in the barren land.A plan was afoot to make 25 seed villages,each to be spread over 50 hectares of land in Jharkhand,she said.
