Whenever the Jharkhand Public Service Commission holds its fifth civil services examinations,it will select candidates for more than 192 posts.

This will include 91 posts of administrative officers.For the first time so many posts were meant to be filled up for the Jharkhand Administrative Service this year.

Reports said the state personnel department has already sent proposal to JPSC for selecting candidates for these posts.”More posts of other departments may be sent to the JPSC”,said a senior officer of the department.

JPSC is likely to bring out advertisement inviting applications for its fifth civil services examinations soon.

Incidentally,the fifth civil services eaxaminations are to be conducted following a new method.In the preliminary test,while the optional paper has to be decided by the candidates,General Studies are planned to be split into two papers,each carrying objective type questions for 100 marks.

So far the vacant posts are :

Administrative Service:91;Police Service:41;Jail Service:09;Labour Service:20;and Finance Service:31.
