Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today opined that the Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) should remain vigilant and keep an eye on the quality of work connected with implementation of development projects and provide its details to the department.
‘This will not only help create check and balance but ensure that the department can keep vigil on development works”,said the CM while reviewing the works of the Rural Development Department inside his official residence in Ranchi today.
“The forthcoming budget will be prepared keeping villages in the background.Only when villages will be happy that the state can develop.The involvement of women in development works will be strengthened”,said the CM directing the concerned authorities to mobilise women by linking the department with self help groups.
Also the CM directed them to ensure that the water of the village was utilised within the village so that there is no shortage of water there.’If there is a need to construct new wells and ponds,act toward the same end so that there is no shortage of water in the next monsoon”,he said.
