“Jharkhand is rich in natural and mineral resources.To develop this state,the non government organisations and social organisations haave to play a significant role”,said the Governor Draupadi Murmu.

With an aim to build rapport and gain information and opinions from them,Jharkhand Governor today held a meeting of representatives of the NGOs and social activists who were working in the Scheduled Areas of the state.

Addressing the meeting inside the Raj Bhawan in Ranchi,Governor opined that in remote places where the government employees and officers fail to reach,the representatives of the NGOs and social activists work for development,look at their life styles and problems.

The Governor sought to know about various aspects of life of the people including the law and order,development and displacenment of the people in the Scheduled Areas and gained their views on these issues.
