A social activist Sunil Pandey has been killed by unidentified men at a road-side hotel in Bhandar bustee of Palamau district.
Pandey was at the hotel when three persons came on a motor-cycle and sprayed bullets on him, killing him on the spot, said the police.
The social activist was a resident of Tona village and was on his way to Medininagar when he stopped by for tea, the police said.
Pandey was known for social campaigns in the poverty-stricken area.
