At a time when the lockdown clamped across India to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the government of Jharkhand was out to enforce it.

More, Hemant Soren's government seems to be also serving lunch free of cost to the poor and deprived sections of the society across Jharkhand.

Billed as 'Mukhya Mantri Didi Kitchen', the lunch - Bhat, Dal, and Sabji( Rice, Pulse and Vegetable) is being served by the state government organisations staff and officers.

As per information provided by the state government on Sunday, as many as 3586 Didi Kitchens across the state provided lunch to 1,22774 people.

The critic had found a subject of criticism in the poster put up at the site of the Didi Kitchen site. The poster carries the picture of the CM Soren.

"The move to provide food free of cost to poor people is a positive move. But showing the Hemant Soren's picture in the poster indicates that he was doing this work to mobilise votes", said Suman Kishore, a BJP leader.
