Jharkhand’s Chief Secretary RS Sharma today flew from Ranchi to Deoghar to take stock of the President PranabMukherjee’s maiden visit to Jharkhand on April 29.

“Preparations are in full swing.A blue print for the security measures are being chalked out”,said a senior officer based at Deoghar.

During his visit, he will lay the foundation stone of SanthalPargana’s first power plant being set up by the Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) near Deoghar.

A high-level meeting chaired by state chief secretary Sharma is giving final touches to the plan to welcome President Mukherjee. Most of the seniors officers of the home and the police departments along with representatives from JSPL are in touch with each other.
