As many as 1898 tribal girls have been selected to work with the Tata group Under the initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs led by Minister Arjun Munda.
Under the initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt of India, 1898 tribal girls from Khunti Parliamentary Constituency of Arjun Munda, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs have been selected to work as Trainees in Tata Electronics Limited in Husoor district, Tamil Nadu.
They are being sent in batches by train from Tatanagar and Ranchi. 106 tribal girls travelled from Tata Nagar to Hosur via Bengaluru by train today. They had expressed their gratitude to the Union Minister of Tribal Affairs for providing employment to the girls from the tribal community.
It is indeed a great initiative of the Tata group for the tribal community. Tata Electronics will provide employment to these inter-pass girls along with skill development. Tata Electronics will absorb them permanently after the completion of one year probation period. . During the training period, they will be provided with a monthly stipend and other basic amenities.
