Former captain of the Indian Cricket Team MS Dhoni has become the highest Income Tax payer in Jharkhand.His has deposited Rs 17 crore as Advance Tax this year against 13 crore Advance Tax last year.

In comparison, the Advance payment made by him is 13 crore more than previous year.This indicates that his annual income had increased by 30 percent this year.

Dhoni home town is Ranchi where he was born and started playing cricket to enter into international platform. In 2015 and 2017, Dhoni had captained the Jharkhand team Vijay Hazare Trophy.He was considered as its mentor.

Ever since 2016-17, Dhoni has been the highest tax payers in the state when he had paid Rs 12.17 crore.In 2022, he retired from International cricket though he continued to play in the IPL.
