After Vande Bharat Express connecting Howrah and New Jalpaiguri,railways are reportedly planning to launch this high speed train on Ranchi- Kolkata route.

As per the Indian Railways plan,Vande Bharat Express train are planned to be run on 18 of 40 routes in the country.Ranchi- Howrah figures in this list.

As it is, Vande Bharat Express train runs at 130-150 km per hour speed. It is planned to cover 419 km distance between Ranchi and Howrah in four hour and fifty five minutes.

Apart from Wi- Fi system, Vande Bharat is linked with GPS and has several facilities similar to what passengers get in aero plane.
