Naxals strike again. This time they killed one Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) official was killed, and injured a constable. 

The incident in the form of an encounter with Naxal in Chhattisgarh's Left Wing Extremism-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh where they had triggered IED blast on December 13. The encounter between Naxals and security forces took place this morning in Jagargunda area. 

It was at this place where a team of the CRPF's 165th battalion was out on an anti-Naxal operation from its Bedre camp towards Ursangal village. 

During the operation, an encounter broke out between the CRPF team and Naxals in which Sub-Inspecter Sudhakar Reddy was killed while Constable Ramu sustained bullet injuries. 

Following the encounter, Ramu was airlifted to a hospital for primary treatment. Four suspects were detained by the police from a nearby area and a joint search operation was launched by teams of the CRPF's COBRA unit, and the local police. 

After the incident, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid his tributes to Sub-Inspecter (SI) Sudhakar Reddy for his sacrifice in the line of duty.
