As per his schedule, Sachin Tendulkar, arrived in Ranchi on Saturday with his wife, Anjali Tendulkar, to encourage young women footballers and bring awareness among voters. 

After arriving at the airport, the Indian cricket legend stated that he came to Ranchi to spread awareness among voters. “ Every vote counts. So my appeal is to utilize the right to franchise and vote …”, said Tendulkar who is appointed as an icon of the Election Commission of India.
