As polling is slated to be held in Ranchi on Saturday, the district administration in league with the police have come up with a new route map for traffic. 

* From 4 pm to 3 am, all vehicles other than deployed for polling purposes will not be allowed to move on road linking Piska mord to Tilta chowk. 

* ⁠All vehicles will be allowed to move from Piska Mod to Kathal chowk, Harmu, New Market, Kanke road to Ring road to reach destination point. 

* ⁠Vehicles coming from Tilta chowk to Piska Mod will have to take left turn from Tilta chowk to move towards the Ring road to reach destination. 

The new traffic map has been notified because the vehicles carrying EVMs will come from different destinations to the ECI centre hall at Pandara.  

Elsewhere the traffic across the city in Ranchi and going out of the district will remain unaffected, control room of the Ranchi traffic police informed.
