Despite heat and temperature scaling up to 44 degree C, bumper voting was witnessed in three parliamentary constituencies in Jharkhand where polls were held till 5 pm on Saturday. 

Notably, they turned up and exercised their right to franchise peacefully.There was no incident of violence reported from any of these three constituencies - Dumka, Godda and Rajmahal where 67.95 percent of polling was recorded. 

 LDumka topped in poll percentage as 69.89 percent voters exercised their right to franchise. Next was Godda where poll percentage was 67.24 percent and in Rajmahal the poll percentage registered was 66.98 percent, according to the Election Commission of India’s data made available to media persons. 

The 2024 LS  polls results will be made public on June 4.
