On the initiative of CM Raghubar Das, 15 workers from Jharkhand who went to Saudi Arabia will return to India. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that MC Luther, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has directed the Career Line agency of Mumbai to make a safe return to all the workers.

All 15 workers went to Saudi Arabia through Career Line Agency. These workers have complained that they are not being paid salaries for the past 8 months and they are also being tortured. Regarding these complaints, Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, wrote a letter to the Chief Minister requesting the initiative to bring the workers back. Barnwal said that there are still  25 workers who are sent to Saudi Arabia but Indian government do not have their record. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has urged the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to get information about them and to bring them India safely.

Dhaneshwar Mahto, Basant Mahto, Sahdev Mahto, Tinku Mahto, Surendra Mahto, Mahendra Mahto, Dulalchand Mahto, Mahendra Mahto, Rameshwar Mahto, Babulal Mahto, Indra Dev Mahto, Mithilesh Mahto, Jaglal Mahto , Bhagirath alias Bhola Mahto and Baleshwar Mahto will be brought back to India. 

The Chief Minister has appealed to the people of Jharkhand to get employment through the right and registered institution providing employment abroad. He said that now every possible employment opportunities are being created in the state, so that they do not need to go abroad.
