Jharkhand government is on way to make senior citizens undertake ‘Tirth Yatra’ to spiritual destinations across the country under its scheme Mukhyamantry Teerth Darshan Yojna.

“We will be taking group of 1000 devotees to Bhubaneshwar and Puri in the very first slot and they will get every possible facility like fooding, accommodation, medical facility and so on in the trip”, said Amar Kumar Bauri, Minister Tourism, Art and Culture on Wednesday.

While talking to mediapersons the Minister informed that the state government has signed Memorandum of Understanding with IRCTC who will be the hospitality partner of Jharkhand Govt.

Jharkhand CM Shri Raghubar Das also released the Logo of Mukhyamantry Teerth Darshan Yojna.Chairman, IRCTC Dr. Arun Kumar Manocha said that IRCTC is going to provide hospitality in other States as well.

This is for the first time IRCTC has joined hands with hands.. We assure our best in providing services and facilities to the pilgrims”,added Manocha..

On this occasion,Raghubar Das,Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma,Principle Secretary to CM, Sanjay Kumar, Secretary Tourism,Satendra Kumar Singh, Director, Tourism, Prasad Krishna Waghmare,Joint Director, Tourism Rajiv Ranjan and other officials were present.
