The TOEFL program is celebrating English Language Day with a global Question & Answer live chat on Facebook, says a press release.

Students interested in learning more about the English language and the TOEFL test are required to register on Facebook for the live discussion on April 23, 19:30-21:30 IST.

The United Nations created specific Language Days for each of its six official languages to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity. April 23 was chosen for English Language Day in honor of William Shakespeare’s birthday.

For the second year in a row, the TOEFL program is celebrating by having English language experts on hand to answer questions about English language usage, vocabulary and grammar, as well as any questions about preparing and registering for the TOEFL test.
“Observing English Language Day serves as an excellent starting point for students looking to take the TOEFL test in 2015,” said Jobert Abueva, Senior Director of Marketing for the TOEFL program.

The live chat is part of a larger campaign to help students start their study-abroad adventure with the TOEFL program serving as a personal navigator on Facebook and Instagram. Students who are inspired to study abroad can follow the TOEFL program for valuable information about their upcoming experiences.
